Registration for Fall Soccer 2010 is now open, practices start the week of August 23.         Soccer Age Groups The Age Group Divisions will be set according to North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA) Age Chart. The birthday cutoff date is August 1. Date ranges are updated every August for the FALL league. In the division names, the "U" stands for under. For example the "U8" means under 8. Child Born Between Division Format 8/1/96 to 7/31/00 U14 9 v 9, coed 8/1/00 to 7/31/02 U10 8 v 8, coed 8/1/02 to 7/31/04 U08 7 v 7, coed 8/1/04 to 7/31/05 U06 5 v 5, coed 8/1/05 to 7/31/06 U05 4 v 4, coed 8/1/06 to 7/31/07 U04 4 v 4, coed All children are given the option of playing "up" an age group, that is, playing in the age group older than the one they qualify for, either because they wish to play with friends in that group or because they have skills superior to their age group. However, NO child will be allowed to play "down" an age group, for safety reasons. All-girl teams are available. Teams will be formed according to the ages of the girls who register.     Hillandale Sports Association (HSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.     All members of the board of directors and each individual team coach are volunteers whose sole mission is to help our kids learn and enjoy the sport.
