HSA offers a baseball league in the spring only. We practice and play all games at either Hillandale Elementary or Whippoorwill Park. Games are played on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. For the younger age groups (4/5 and 5/6), games last one hour, for the 7/8 age group they last about 1.5 hours, and for the oldest league (9/10/11) games last about 2 hours. Parents who have some knowledge of the game of baseball will find some modifications in the rules as played by HSA. Rules and strategy are altered for reasons of safety, size of the playing field, the size of the children and their ability.           Hillandale Sports Association (HSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.     All members of the board of directors and each individual team coach are volunteers whose sole mission is to help our kids learn and enjoy the sport.
