Registration for Fall Soccer 2010 is now open, practices start the week of August 23.         HSA Rules & Guidelines Parking Please do not park on the gravel driveways adjacent to the fields at either at Eno Valley or Hillandale - cars parked in either site will be towed.     Games/Practice Cancellations Practices hampered by inclement weather are cancelled by coaches, so you will get a call or email from them; game days are cancelled by the HSA board. The cancellation of a game day will be posted on the home page of this website on hour prior to the first game. Practices and games will be cancelled immediately in the event of thunder or lightning.     Behavior All parents are responsible for their children's and their behavior. We have asked coaches to sit any kids who are being disruptive and allow the parents to address those concerns. HSA is not a dependent care organization -- children are not to be dropped off at the field unless parents have made arrangements with another parent to watch them, and the coach is informed. Please refrain from touching a child that is not yours in anger or rebuke. If a child needs to be addressed about his or her behavior, please refer the matter to that child's coach.     Age Groups View Age Groups All children are given the option of playing "up" an age group, that is, playing in the age group older than the one they qualify for, either because they wish to play with friends in that group or because they have skills superior to their age group. However, NO child will be allowed to play "down" an age group in soccer, for safety reasons. In baseball, in very limited cases approved by the board president, the baseball commissioner and coaches, a child will be allowed to play "down."     Withdrawals/Refunds Requests for a refund must include the name of the participant and the reason for the refund. All refunds are subject to a $5.00 processing fee Any refunds requested after registration closes are subject to a $20.00 cancellation fee. In the event no parent on a given team steps up to coach the team, the team will be disbanded and all registration fees will be refunded. No refunds will be given after the first scheduled game. HSA Board of Directors reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the merit of each refund request. Refunds will be issued no later than thirty days (30) after the request for refund has been approved by the Board of Directors.     Late Fees Occasionally, we will keep registration open beyond the posted deadline. Children may be registered at this time, but will be charged a $15 late fee at registration       Hillandale Sports Association (HSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.     All members of the board of directors and each individual team coach are volunteers whose sole mission is to help our kids learn and enjoy the sport.
